Christopher G. Hansen (Uncle Chris)
Our beloved Uncle Chris went to be with the Lord on October 1st, 2011.
Chris was born in Seattle on December 8th, 1954 and spent his early years living in Tacoma’s North End. He relocated to Bellevue in 1967 and completed his education at Newport High School.
Disabled by Schizophrenia, Chris spent the majority of his adult life institutionalized, most recently in the loving care of Lori, Willy, and Wilton at their small group home in Algona. Chris loved visiting at family gatherings, events and outings and was a special family member that will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his mother Norma and father Hal. He is survived by his stepmother Bonnie, sister Rayanne Richardson (Bob) and his brothers Mike (Brenda) and Dan plus many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family. Although we will all miss Uncle Chris, we are comforted by the knowledge that he has found peace.
